Episode 22 – What You Say When You Talk To Yourself
What do YOU say when you talk to yourself? Are you feeding yourself with positive or negative self talk. Sometimes you don’t even realize what you are saying to yourself is bringing you down and creating more of the same negative thoughts and feelings. You can be your own worse enemy. Even simple things such as, "I’m always late", "I am forgetful", or "I’m so clumsy" can create more of the same problems.

Negative programming can come from anywhere. It could be a parent, teacher, friend, sibling or coach that said some negative things to you in your past. At the time, you may have let it roll of your back but if you heard it enough times, you start to believe it. Maybe you didn’t experience that as a child but somehow, over time, you created your own negative self talk. The good news is, you can reverse it! You can re-program yourself and kick the negative thoughts to the curb and replace them with positive thoughts through self talk.
